I will be traveling to India and China beginning in April and will be using my blog to post notes and photos. My plan is to head to Delhi and get acclimated. I hope to spend a few days there and fit in a trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. From there I will fly to Kolkata and take the train to Darjeeling to taste some tea at some of my favorite estates. After Darjeeling I hope to hang around northeastern India and do some trekking and visit national parks and wildlife sanctuaries.
From there I will fly to Kunming in China. I want to spend some time in Dali, Lijiang, Tiger Leaping Gorge, the Stone Forest, and of course Puer for some tea. After a few weeks in the southwest, I will fly to Beijing and spend my last few days to see the sites, including the Great Wall and Forbidden City, before heading home.
This is the plan, but it will be interesting to see where I end up!
